Carolyn Bader scored two goals and Beth Mork added another as the Panthers broke a seven-game losing streak with a dominating 3-1 home victory over Davidson.

Mork put High Point (3-10-1) on the board in the 8th minute when she laced a shot over the head of Davidson keeper Meghan Ferriter to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. It turned out to be short-lived, becuase just four minutes later Davidson's Heather Maloney tied the game on a penalty shot in the 12th minute.

The game went to halftime knotted at 1-1, but High Point freshman Carolyn Bader made sure it wouldn't stay that way. Bader knocked in unassisted goals in the 50th and 54th minutes of play to lift the Panthers to a much-needed win in front of their home fans at Albion Millis Stadium.

High Point keeper Cindy Watts earned her second victory of the season in goal.
