The Radford University volleyball team reached the .500 mark for the first time this season with a 3-0 victory over High Point University (2-17, 0-6 BSC). The victory ran the Highlanders current unbeaten streak to five games while erasing an 0-5 start to the season. Game Scores for the match, 30-20, 30-17, 30-16.

Radford (6-6, 2-0 BSC), who has won 32 of their last 34 regular season matches against Big South Conference opponents dating back to 1998, was led by Nicole Boyd's 13 kills and a .600 hitting percentage. Laura Marcuson added 12 kilss to help pace the Highlanders who hit .489 as a team on the night.

RU's Katie Sherwood continued her hot hitting posting 11 kills in 17 attempts without committing an error, to hit .647 on the night. Kimberly Wright led High Point with 10 kills.
