Kelly Budnik had 16 kills and 15 digs to lead UNC Asheville to a come-from-behind Big South Conference volleyball victory over visiting High Point in five tought games Friday night at Justice Center. The Bulldogs won the match, 30-24, 30-31, 24-30, 30-19. 15-12.

Also in double figures for Asheville were Heather Terrell and Adrienned Moore with 14 kills each. Elizabeth Rodrigues had a strong match with 10 kills, 10 digs and seven blocks.

The Panthers were led by Kamersha Ryan who had a spectacular match with 25 kills. Tracyann Pryce and Lindsey Steinhaus added 17 kills each. Steinhaus also had 20 digs.

"This is a good win because we had Jessica Jones out, (UNCA's leading blocker) and we came from behind to do it against a team that has been playing very well as of late," stated Bulldog coach Julie Torbett. "There were times we didn't play well but we battled back in the fourth and fifth game and found a way to get an important victory."
