High Point University Athletics

Sydney Smith was named High Point University's head cheerleading coach in 2015. She comes to High Point with 17 years of cheerleading experience.

After a 14-year all- star cheerleading career as well as high school cheer, Smith coached at the high school level for 3 years. Along with coaching, Smith works as an instructor across the Southeast Region for UCA, Universal Cheerleader Association.

Smith is certified in ACCAA Spirit Safety, Fundamentals of Coaching, and Concussion in Sports.
