High Point University Athletics

Quade Haynie joined the High Point University Sports Medicine staff as the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine in July 2025. Haynie will be the oversight of the HPU Sports Medicine Department and serve as the men's basketball athletic trainer.

Originally from southern Utah, Haynie received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and his Master of Arts in Athletic Training from Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, California. During his time at FPU, he was responsible for Men's Soccer, as well as their Track and Field teams. 
 
Haynie began his certified career at Calallen Independent School District in southern Texas, then proceeded to his graduate degree at FPU in 2017. Following his education, he would find himself taking care of Men's Basketball at Southern Utah University and would later practice in the Dominican Republic for the Kansas City Royals Organization.

Eventually, he would procure a position as the Associate Director for Sports Medicine at SUU, where he took care of their Women's Gymnastics program, as well as others. In 2023, Haynie earned the role of Associate Head Athletic Trainer for the University of Nevada-Las Vegas Football Program. 
 
Haynie can often be seen dancing around when going from place to place. He has competed in many sports throughout his life including things like bull riding, motorcross and collegiate baseball.
