Lauren McKenney joined the High Point University Sports Medicine staff in June 2026. She will be working with the HPU men's and women's cross country and track & field teams.
Originally from Brattleboro, Vermont, McKenney earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Merrimack College in 2023 as well as her master’s of athletic training in 2024.
While attending Merrimack, she completed an immersive clinical experience with Rice University football. She also worked with the track & field and football teams at Stonehill College. Prior to joining the HPU staff, McKenney served as an assistant athletic trainer at Campbellsville University.
McKenney is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.
