Erin Bettleyon joined the High Point University Sports Medicine staff in February 2026 and serves as the athletic trainer for the women’s lacrosse team.
Originally from Broadway, Va., Erin graduated from Marymount (Va.) University in 2019 with her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. She obtained her Master of Athletic Training degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2021.
Prior to High Point University, Bettleyon was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Greensboro College for two years and Methodist University for three years.
Bettleyon is a NCBATE Licensed and BOC Certified Athletic Trainer. She also has the following additional certifications: NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM Certified Sports Nutrition Coach, Mental Health First Aid, and Graston Technique Provider: M1.
Bettleyon is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. She currently resides in Thomasville with her husband Jordan.
