Dr. Greggory Hundt was named High Point's faculty athletic representative (FAR) in September 2012.
Dr. Hundt is an Associate Professor at High Point University. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University in 1991. He then went on to earn both a master’s degree and a PhD in Experimental/Social Psychology from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
Dr. Hundt started as a professor at High Point University in 1998 and currently teaches nine different courses in Psychology. He has published papers and given presentations on a variety of subjects within the field of psychology with a focus on social psychology and individuals’ attitudes and factors related to social influence and motivation.
Dr. Hundt will be responsible for ensuring the academic integrity of students participating in University athletic programs and helping to oversee institutional control of the Athletic Department. The faculty athletic representative serves as a liaison between the University and the athletic department. He will also represent the institution at NCAA and Big South Conference meetings and serve as a resource to the student-athletes.
