Darren Hill joined High Point University’s Institutional Advancement Office in December 2016 as the Senior Director of Athletic Development. He was promoted to Assistant Vice President for Athletic Development in 2024.
Hill is responsible for advancing the institutional priorities of the University and the Athletic Department through the cultivation and solicitation of major gifts for scholarships, capital projects and athletic endowments. In his role, Hill also oversees all season tickets and corporate sponsorships for High Point University Athletics.
Prior to his arrival at HPU, Hill served as the Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Winston-Salem Dash baseball team. He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science, concentration in Sport Administration, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Hill resides in Winston-Salem with his wife, Angela, and their two sons, Connor and Lawson.
