Andy Woodson joined High Point University in November of 2025 as the Student-Athlete Academic Advisor for men's and women's basketball. Andy will be supporting the basketball teams in academic and personal success.
Woodson has a background in Athletics Administration at the high school level. He has served as Assistant Athletic Director at Community Baptist School in Reidsville NC for two years and as Athletic Director at Noble Academy in Greensboro N.C. for four. Andy obtained a B.S in Exercise and Sport Studies with a Concentration in Sports Management from Greensboro College and a M.S. in Sports Management from Western Carolina University.
Woodson also has a teaching and coaching background. In addition to working in athletics administration, he also served as a Health and P.E teacher as well as the Varsity Basketball and Golf coach. With his experience in athletics administration, student life, and education, Andy looks to thrive in helping our student athletes reach their goals.
