Nate Shipp joined the Panthers in 2023 as the Assistant Director for Facilities and Operations. A native of Belton, Texas, Shipp has substantial experience in operations, sports field construction, and sports field maintenance.
Prior to joining HPU, he served as the assistant baseball coach for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and was the assistant groundskeeper for the Round Rock Express, MiLB Triple- A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. While at HPU, Shipp will be the facilities sport contact for men's and women's soccer, women's basketball, and baseball while assisting with men's and women's track and field.
Shipp holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Southwestern University, where he was a four-year letter winner for the Pirates baseball team.
