Keith Fontaine returned to the HPU women's soccer program staff in August of 2018, helping lead the Panthers to their 20th straight postseason appearance in his first year back with the HPU contingency.Â
Fontaine returns to High Point, where he was an assistant coach from 2009-2013. During that time, Fontaine worked as the director of technical development and helped the Panthers win back-to-back Big South Conference Regular Season Championships in 2010 and 2011. The Panthers also made two trips to the NCAA tournament after winning the Big South Conference tournament in 2009 and 2010. Additionally he worked one season as a volunteer assistant at Francis Marion University.

Fontaine has over 20 years of experience at the club level, most notably working with the local Piedmont Triad Football Club in High Point. In the past eight seasons, he has helped lead multiple teams to the State Cup championships. Earlier in his career, he also served as head coach for South River High School in Maryland and led the First Division Washington Area Girl’s Soccer team in Crofton, Md. from 2000-2006.

Fontaine is a USSF licensed coach, earning his A License in 2004 and his National Goalkeeping license in 2013. He graduated from Towson State in 1996 with a degree in education.
