Katie Roberts joined the High Point University women’s soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach in July of 2016. She comes to HPU after playing four seasons at the University at Buffalo.
Roberts will be responsible for working with the HPU forwards. She will also assist with all aspects of the program including planning training sessions, film breakdown, assisting with gameday operations and the Fit for 90 athlete wellness monitoring system.
Roberts was a four-year letter winner at the University at Buffalo and was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2014. Over four years with the Bulls, Roberts played in 79 games with 60 starts and notched 53 points on 23 goals and seven assists. She was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team after leading the team in goals and assists in 2011 and led the team to a MAC Championship as a senior with 12 goals and three assists in 22 games.
