Ally Windley joined the HPU athletic training staff in December of 2014. Windley is a High Point graduate who returned to HPU after working for two years at Gardner-Webb.
Windley works primarily with the High Point women’s soccer program.
Windley worked with the women’s soccer and men’s tennis programs at Gardner-Webb. She provided athletic training services that included daily health care, game and practice coverage and insurance verification. She also organized health and safety speakers for the student-athletes and updated the school’s concussion policy.
Prior to her time at Gardner-Webb, Windley earned her master’s degree at East Carolina. While at ECU she worked with women’s volleyball, track and field, men’s and women’s tennis and cheerleading.
Windley graduated from High Point University with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2010. She worked as an athletic training student with the HPU men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball teams as well as with the Elon football team.
Windley is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. She also holds certifications for SASTM technique, Mental Health First Aid and as a Corrective Exercise Specialist.Â
