Throughout high school, Trouwborst has been involved in a variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities... Participating in the National Honor Society and Beta Club while competing in basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and rowing....New York State Champion in Rowing four times in 2024 and two times in 2025, as well as an SRAA National Champion two times in both 2025 and 2026...Competed with the Erie Canal Athletic Club and Gordon Rowing Association.
