High Point University Athletics

Marietta Valente joined the High Point Athletics staff in August 2021 as a student intern and became the Athletic Communications Assistant in August 2024. She serves as the main contact for men's and women's cross country and golf. 

Valente grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey and currently attends High Point University for her undergraduate studies. She is currently a Junior pursuing her B.A in Social Media & Digital Communication. 

Valente competed on the track team as a heptathlete her freshman year before transitioning into a student intern. During her first two years at High Point, Valente worked for all 16 teams doing photography, videography and social media content creation. Valente is also in charge of @highpointpanthers tik tok account.
