2024 (Outdoor):
- Competed in seven meets.
- Represented High Point in the decathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational (Apr. 11-13) and the Big South Championships (May 6-8).
- Recorded a personal best 6,470 points at the Big South Championships to finish third overall. Had personal bests in the 100m (11.54), 400m (52.43) and the Javelin (54.01m).
- During hte regular season, Byers posted a new personal best in the 110m hurdles at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge with a 16.02 time.
2024 (Indoor):
- Competed in five meets during the indoor season.
- In his season opener at the Virginia Tech Inviational (Jan. 12-13), he recorded a new personal best in the 300m with a 38.40 second time.
- Competed in the heptathlon at the Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational (Jan. 26-27) and at the Big South Indoor Championships (Feb. 23-24).
- Scored 4,848 points in the heptathlon at the Big South Championships (Feb. 23-24) for a fifth place finish. Recorded new personal best in the 60m hurdles with an 8.81 time.
2023 (Outdoor):
- Competed in four regular season meets before the Big South Championships.
- Competed in the decathlon in two of the meets (Meet of Champions, Apr. 15 & Big South Championships, May. 10-12).
- Set a new personal best score in the decathlon at the Big South Championships finishing fourth with a 6285 score. During the event he set a personal best in the discus throw with a 34.26m for fourth place.
- Finished first in the men's pole vault at the Big South Championships in the decathlon with a height of 4.35m.
- Set multiple PRs at the Meet of Champions in the 100m (11.78, 6th), 400m (53.28, 4th), 110mH (16.39, 3rd) and the 1500m (5:19.31, 4th).
- Also set a new PR in the javelin throw at the Webb Davidson Meet (Mar. 17-18).
2022-23 (Indoor):
- Competed in five meets before the Big South Indoor Championships.
- Competed in the heptathlon in three meets, including at the Big South Championships.
- Set a new personal best score in the heptathlon at the Big South Championships after PRing in five of the seven events. The 1000m (2:57.00, 4th), 60mH (8.88, 2nd), SP (11.75m, 2nd), LJ (6.50m, 2nd), and the 60m (7.39, 4th).
2022 (Outdoor):
- Placed 4th in the High Jump at the VertKlasse Meet, with a mark of 2.00m (4/1)
- Placed 6th in High Jump at the Meet of Champions, with a jump of 1.92m (4/16)
- Placed 2nd in Pole Vault at the Big South Championships with a mark of 4.61m a new personal best, also placed 4th in High Jump with a mark of 2.04m a new personal best (5/11)
2021-2022 (Indoor):
- Finished 2nd in the High Jump at Brant Tolsma Invitational, with a mark of 1.95m (1/22)
- Placed 2nd in the High Jump at Camel City Invitational, with a mark of 2.00m (2/4)
2021 (Outdoor):
- Placed 2nd in Pole Vault at the Vertklasse Meet, with a mark of 4.36m (4/1)
- Placed 5th in High Jump at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier, with a jump of 1.83m (5/5)
- Placed 5th in Pole Vault at the Big South Championships, with a mark of 4.40m, also placed 7th in High Jump with a jump of 1.80m (5/12)
