Noah Diebel

Noah Diebel returned to the High Point coaching staff as the director of basketball operations in the summer of 2021 after serving as a student manager and graduate assistant for HPU from 2014-19.

Diebel came back to High Point after spending two years as a men’s basketball assistant coach and Sports Information Assistant at Huntingdon. During his first season with Huntingdon Diebel assisted head coach David Gurganus in leading the Hawks to a 14-14 record and their first appearance in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament championship game since 2014. The 14 wins were the most for the program since the 2005-06 season.

The team produced one All-Conference performer and 13 Academic All-Conference selections.

Diebel came to Huntingdon after spending one season as a graduate assistant for Panther head coach Tubby Smith in his first season with the Panthers.

Before becoming a graduate assistant, Diebel was a team manager for the Panthers and was named NCAA Manager of the Year in 2017 by Managers on a Mission.

Diebel graduated from High Point with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2018 and earned his master’s degree in elementary education in 2019.
