Mohammed Haroon

Mohammed Haroon joined the High Point Basketball staff in the summer of 2026, after stints with the University of Rio Grande (NAIA), Prolific Prep, and BTI Basketball Club.
 
In the 2022-2023 season with Rio Grande, Haroon helped coach them to a 25-7 record, a River States Championship and the first National Tournament in over 20 years.
 
In the 2023-2024 season, Haroon served as the head coach of Prolific Prep’s development team and lead the team to being the California D6 state runner-up. The following year Haroon served as the assistant offensive coordinator on Prolific Prep’s national team, and helped the team to the semi-finals at Chipotle Nationals, the premier national championship of high school basketball.  During his two years at Prolific, Haroon coached five McDonald All-American’s and numerous 5-star players.
 
Haroon joined BTI in the winter of 2025, and helped scout, recruit and assemble one of best teams in the 2026 Pro16 circuit.  
 
Haroon attended Xavier University from 2017-2021, where he served as a student-manager.
