High Point University Athletics

Alex Arney was named High Point University's head cheerleading coach in 2013. She comes to High Point with 17 years of cheerleading experience.

Following an All-State cheerleading career in high school, Arney continued to cheer throughout college for UNC Greensboro, UNC Charlotte and UNC Wilmington.

From 2008-11, Arney worked as a choreographer and camp instructor for the state of North Carolina at the Universal Cheerleading Association.

Arney graduated from UNCW in 2010 with a degree in Communication Studies.
