High Point University has some of the finest facilities of its kind in the Big South Conference and in the region. Every athletic facility at HPU has been constructed or received major renovations since 2007.

The newest addition is the Witcher Athletic Center at Vert Stadium, which opened in the fall of 2014. The Witcher Athletic Center is be a first-class, 36,000-square foot facility featuring primary areas for academic services and athletic training as well as locker rooms, lounges and offices for men's and women's lacrosse and men's and women's soccer. The facility features a Presidents Suite, Athletic Director Box, new media and video area as well as new concession stands, rest rooms and other amenities at Vert Stadium.

In 2007, the Steele Sports Center was opened and houses offices and locker rooms for men's and women's cross country and track and field, baseball and men's and women's golf. It also includes a weight room and administrative offices. The Steele Sports Center will receive some upgrades and reconfiguration to optimize its space after the Athletic Performance Center opens.

Vert Stadium was rededicated in 2007, becoming one of the finest in the region for track & field, soccer and lacrosse. The field was resurfaced in 2015 with Mondo Classic MF Fiber with SBR infill, which is the best artificial turf system available.

Williard Stadium opened in March of 2007 with the addition of 501 custom purple seats, a full press box and hospitality suite, restrooms, a concession stand and lights. Erath Field has long been home to HPU baseball, and it has undergone many other renovations since 2001, including a new infield, irrigation and scoreboard.

In the summer of 2008, the Millis Center underwent a $2 million renovation to better serve the HPU men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams. Improvements included a new floor, new seating, lighting, video boards and a new center-hung scoreboard. The basketball office suite received a major renovation in 2010, including all new offices and meeting space. A new volleyball locker room was constructed in 2009 and new men's and women's basketball locker rooms were built in 2012.

High Point University's men's and women's golf teams have full use of the High Point Country Club's two courses located within a short drive of campus. The 18-hole Willow Creek course was designed by Willard C. Byrd, ASGCA, and opened in 1964. The historic Emerywood Golf Course is used mainly as a practice facility for HPU's golf teams. It is located in the heart of High Point and opened in 1923.
