Placed 12th in the weight throw and 13th in the shot put at the Big South Indoor Championship ... Outdoors, threw the discus a career-best 116-10 (35.62m) to place eighth and took 19th in the shot put at the N.C. A&T Aggie Relays ... Placed 11th in the discus and 13th in the shot put at the Big South Championship ... Placed third in the shot put with a career-best 36-6.25 (11.13m) at the HPU VertKlasse Meeting.

2008-09: Took 17th in the shot put at the Big South Indoor Championship ... Outdoors, placed fifth in the shot put and fifth in the discus at the N.C. A&T Murray Neely Invitational ... took 12th in the discus with a throw of 113-2 (34.49m) and 15th in the shot put 33-11.75 (10.36m) at the Big South Championship.

Prep: Member of state runner-up teams in 2005 and 2007 ... Three-time state runner-up in the shot put and two-time runner-up in the discus ... Field event team MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior ... Received coaches award in 2007 ... Set school records in the shot put and discus ... Also played basketball.
