DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The High Point University men's basketball team will be attending the second annual Boardwalk Battle at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida in late November of 2025. This will be High Point's first time participating in the Boardwalk Battle and the program's second time playing at the Ocean Center in the past two seasons.
 
The second edition of the tournament hosted by the Gazelle Group will take place Nov. 20-22 at the Ocean Center. The format for the Boardwalk Battle will consist of a four-team tournament with each team playing two games. The teams consist of High Point, Southern Indiana, UIC and UIW.
 
High Point had its best season in program history during the 2024-25 season, landing its first NCAA Tournament berth and Big South Tournament title. The Panthers posted a 29-6 overall record which tied for the most wins in Big South program history (Winthrop, 2006-07) and the most wins in HPU program history. High Point finished the Big South regular season with a 14-2 record and were crowned back-to-back regular season champs.
 
Tickets are now on sale for the Boardwalk Battle men's college basketball tournament and can be purchased in advance at TicketMaster.com or on the day of competition at the Ocean Center box office.
