RADFORD, V.A. - It was a heartbreaking loss for women's soccer Wednesday night as they fell to a strong Radford team on the road. The game ended in a score of 1-0 after the Highlanders converted off a penalty kick in the 32nd minute.

The Panthers dominated the start of the first half with six shots to Radford's one. Emily Mashinski led the Panthers with three shots-on-goal.

On the other end, High Point's defense never let down with a number of great takeaways by Graduate Student Shaylyn Owen. 

Neither team got on the board in the second half and the Highlanders would come out victorious at the end of the 90 minutes.

With this loss, the Panther's 2022 season comes to a close, as only the top four teams in the conference compete in post-season play.
