The High Point University women's soccer team (3-0) hosts UNC Asheville (0-1) in their Big South home opener on Saturday. The Panthers are returning home after spending the past two weeks on the road, most recently coming off of a strong 2-0 victory over Campbell.

Salome Starting off Strong
On Tuesday (March 2nd) Salomé Prat was named the Big South Freshman of the Week for the second time in just three weeks into this season. Prat's goal against Campbell provided the Panthers some extra space as she scored just 46 seconds into the second half to make it 2-0. Prat helped the Panthers improve to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in Big South.
Brick Wall Defense
The Panthers are heading into the weekend after securing three clean sheets in as many games. The team has only surrendered 16 shots in the previous three games, with only nine of those shots being on target. Morgan Hairston has been in goal for the Panthers making nine saves over the previous three contests.
