CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Big South Conference is hosting its annual Men's and Women's Basketball Media Day this week with content spread over two days on Tuesday (Nov. 10) and Wednesday (Nov. 11).

First, Men's Basketball head coach
Tubby Smith and Women's Basketball head coach
Chelsea Banbury will be on a Zoom call along with players
John-Michael Wright and
Skyler Curran on Tuesday, answering questions from the media and the conference. The interviews will be recorded by the conference and made available to the public on HPU's website, YouTube page, and social media channels at the conclusion of the day's events at 5 p.m.

On Wednesday, a prerecorded segment with coaches Smith and Banbury that is hosted by High Point men's basketball broadcaster Darron Vaught will air at 11:30 a.m. on ESPN+. The festivities on Wednesday kick-off at 10 a.m. with a segment on the preseason honors for the conference, followed by a segment from Big South Commissioner Kyle Kallander. While Media Day is normally conducted in Charlotte, it is being held remotely this year due to COVID-19 precautions. All interviews were conducted on Zoom when possible and interviews conducted in person were done so with proper social distancing measures in place.
