Box Score WILLIAMSBURG, Va.- High Point University Women's Soccer team snapped a one game winning streak riding high off of senior, Kyle Levesque's golden goal victory in a Labor Day matchup versus UNCG. Thursday's afternoon marked the third away match for the Panthers in the 2019 season.
While the Tribe outshot the Panthers in the first half, 5-0, the Panthers rallied in the second half getting 5 shots on goal. Freshman, Emma Schossler led the Panthers in shots with a pair of shots on goal in the second half.
The Tribe snapped a scoreless match with a goal in the 45th minute by William & Mary sophomore, Renee Kohler. Senior, Talia Klimes recorded all 90 minutes in goal as the Panthers' keeper.
The Panthers will return to action Thursday, Sept. 12th at the Catamount Athletic Complex in Cullowhee, N.C. HPU will meet the Catamounts of Western Carolina at 7:00 p.m.
