High Point Notes:
• HPU enters Wednesday's match off its first conference loss of the season, 1-0, on Saturday at UNC Asheville. Senior goalkeeper Alex Hank made four saves, but the Panthers were limited to just one shot on net in the match.
• The Purple & White have 15 seniors on the team, which accounts for nearly half of the 32-member roster. The senior class has won 43 games in three-plus years and can tie the Div. I school record for wins by a four-year class with a triumph today.
• Hank has won two of the last three Big South Defensive Player of the Week awards, having posted four shutouts in her last six matches. In conference games, Hank is second in save percentage (.917), GAA (0.37), and shutouts (3).
• As a result of Hank's prowess, HPU is second in the league in GAA through five conference contests. High Point is one of three teams in the league to post three shutouts through the first five Big South matches.
• Prior to Saturday, High Point had played in three straight overtime matches, a stretch in which the Panthers were 2-0-1. HPU is now unbeaten in its last 11 OT matches over the last three years, posting a 4-0-7 mark.

Gardner-Webb Notes:
• Gardner-Webb is coming off its first conference victory of the season, 3-2, in double overtime on Saturday at Radford. The Runnin' Bulldogs have played in three one-goal games and one tie through conference play thus far.
• The 'Dogs have posted just 10 goals in 13 matches. Saturday's match was the team's second multi-goal game of the year.
• Samuelle Grove and Stine Kleppe are tied for the team lead with three goals a piece and have accounted for 15 of the team's 26 points this year.
• Keely Brown has been the primary goalkeeper for the Runnin' Bulldogs and holds a 1.80 GAA and .755 save pct. in net.

Series Notes:
• The Panthers and Runnin' Bulldogs have met 14 times prior to Wednesday's matchup.
• High Point is unbeaten in its last nine matches with Gardner-Webb, posting a 7-0-2 record that dates back to 2009.
• HPU has held Gardner-Webb scoreless in the last four meetings since 2012. Alex Hank has made eight saves without allowing a goal in three matches against the Runnin' Bulldogs.
• Last season, Alex Denny recorded a multi-goal game and Michele Micciche also scored as part of a 4-0 HPU victory.
