• High Point rallied from down 2-0 to pick up a 3-2 win in overtime against William & Mary on Thursday night to improve to 4-4-1 on the season. The win ended a four-game losing streak for HPU.

Tyler Gordon scored the game-winning goal in overtime for the Panthers.
• Perrell was named Offensive Player of the Week for the Big South after registering a goal and assist in High Point's comeback at William & Mary.
• The game against William & Mary was High Point's sixth-straight contest on the road. HPU went 2-4-0 in the six road games with all four losses coming at Power 5 opponents.

• Liberty enters the contest against High Point with a 4-5-0 record following back-to-back loses to Florida Gulf Coast and VCU last week.
• Isabella Habuda leads Liberty with three goals through nine games and is tied for team lead in points with Gabrielle Farrell who has two goals and two assists.
• Big South Preseason Defensive Player of the Year Holly Van Noord is 4-4-0 in goal for the Flames with a 1.15 goals-against average and an .830 save percentage. She is tied for the Big South lead with three shutouts in eight games.
• Liberty was picked first in the Big South Preseason Poll, just ahead of HPU, after claiming the regular season and tournament championships in 2015.
