#1 High Point Notes:
            • The top-seeded Panthers advanced their seventh Big South Championship with a win over No. 5-seed Longwood on Friday at Bryan Park.
            • Junior Becca Rolfe scored the game-winning goal in the fourth minute of overtime on a set piece. It was her second goal of the season.
             • The shutout over Longwood was High Point's 10th of the season. The Panthers have allowed just six goals in 16 games against non-Power 5 opponents this season and have gone 13-1-2 in those games.
           • High Point is 1-0-5 in its previous six trips to the Big South Championship and has advanced to the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship five times. The Panthers last won the championship in 2014 over Liberty on Penalty kicks, 5-4, after playing to a 2-2 draw.
            • HPU is tied with Radford and Liberty for the most conference championships in Big South history. Each team has won the title five times and the winner in the game between the Panthers and Flames will take sole possession of the record.
            • High Point clinched its third Big South Regular Season Championship a 7-1-1 mark in the Big South. It is the fewest losses in Big South play since the team went 8-1-2 in 2012.
            • Redshirt-senior Kelsey Perrell was named the Big South Attacking Player of the Year and was one of four players to earn All-Big South honors. Perrell, Rolfe and junior Paige Lloyd were named to the first team and junior Alex Hank was named to the second team. Rolfe was also named the Big South Scholar-Athlete of the Year and head coach Marty Beall was named Big South Coach of the Year.
            • High Point had a program-high three players named to the Big South All-Freshman team as Allie Reagan, Alex Denny and Kyle Levesque were all recognized.
            • Perrell leads HPU with 21 points on a team-high nine goals and three assists. The redshirt-senior is tied for the Big South lead in goals scored and tied for third in points.
            • Hank has started all 20 games for HPU in goal and has a 0.94 goals-against average with a .791 save percentage. In 16 games against non-Power 5 opponents she is 12-1-2 and has allowed just four goals while posting 10 shutouts. She led the conference with a 0.22 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage in Big South games.
            • With the win over Longwood, Hank set a new HPU Div. I single-season record with 12 wins in 2016. Hank has also set records for career wins and career shutouts in the High Point Div. I record book this season with 28 wins and 20 shutouts through her first three years.

#2 Liberty Notes:
            • Liberty advanced to the Big South Championship with an impressive 4-0 win over No. 3-seed Campbell on Friday night. The Flames got two goals from Jennifer Knoebel and one each from Isabella Habuda and Devon Jones in the win.
            • The shutout of Campbell was the Flames' seventh-straight win and their seventh-straight clean sheet. Liberty's last loss and the last game in which they allowed a goal was on Oct. 5 against Gardner-Webb.
           • Liberty goalkeeper Holly Van Noord was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Year and Gabrielle Farrell was named the Big South Freshman of the Year by the conference last week. Both players were named first-team All-Big South along with Habuda while Knoebel and Sami Santos were both named to the second team.
           • Habuda leads Liberty and is tied for the Big South lead with nine goals on the season. She is second in the league with 23 points on nine goals and five assists. Three other Liberty players: Farrell, Knoebel and Jones are all tied for second on the team with seven goals. All three players have at least 18 points this season.
            • Van Noord is tops on the Big South with a 0.72 goals-against average and an .875 save percentage and is second in the conference with eight shutouts.

            • The Panthers earned a 2-1 win in teams' first meeting of the season back on Sept. 24. Perrell scored both goals in the win over the Flames for HPU and Jones scored with 16 seconds left for Liberty.
