High Point Notes:
            • High Point played to a scoreless draw against Longwood on Wednesday, moving to 7-5-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the Big South. The Panthers had 16 shots, including seven on goal, while limiting Longwood to five attempts and just one on frame.
            • Junior Alex Hank posted her fifth clean sheet of the season, which moves her to second in the HPU Div. I career record book for shutouts with 15. She is also tied with former Panther Andrea Ritchie for the HPU Div. I career record in wins after earning the 22nd in her career against Campbell.
            • Redshirt-senior Kelsey Perrell leads HPU with 14 points on a team-high six goals and two assists. She is tied for fifth in the Big South in points and tied for third in the conference in goals. Five other Panther players have scored at least two goals this season, including redshirt-junior Bailey Beattie who is second on the team with eight points on three goals and two assists.
            • Hank has started all 14 games for HPU in goal and has a 1.36 goals-against average with a .760 save percentage. In 10 games against non-Power 5 opponents she is 6-1-2 and has allowed just six goals while posting five shutouts.
 
Charleston Southern Notes:
            • Charleston Southern sits at 6-6-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the Big South this season after a 3-2 loss at Presbyterian College on Wednesday. Anna Sells and Kelly Hinkle both scored to give the Buccaneers an early 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes but the hosts rallied with three goals to claim the win.
            • The CSU attack has been one of the best in the Big South, scoring 19 goals in 12 games for an average of 1.58 per contest, second-best in the conference.
            • Sells leads the Buccaneers and is tied for first in the Big South with seven goals in 2016. Jordan Newman is right on Sells heels with five goals, tied for sixth in the league.
            • Three different players have split time in goal this season as CSU has allowed 18 goals in 12 games for a 1.52 goals-against average. Junior Liz Amanda Brown has played the majority of the minutes and is 4-1-0 with a 0.51 goals-against average and four shutouts.
 
Series Notes:
            • High Point is 16-6-0 in 24 all-time meetings with Charleston Southern.
            • The Panthers earned a 2-0 win over CSU last season at Vert Stadium thanks to goals by Lindsay Elsen and Michele Micciche.
            • High Point's last loss in the series came in 2010 when Charleston Southern won at home, 3-2, in overtime.
