High Point Notes:
            • High Point dropped its first Big South game of the season with a 1-0 loss to UNC Asheville on a stormy Saturday evening, dropping to 7-5-1 overall and 3-1-0 in the Big South. The lone goal of the contest came from the penalty spot after the Panthers were called for a foul in the box in the second half.
            • Junior Alex Hank is tied with former Panther Andrea Ritchie for the HPU Div. I career record in wins after earning her sixth victory of the season and the 22nd in her career on Wednesday against Campbell.
            • Redshirt-senior Kelsey Perrell leads HPU with 14 points on a team-high six goals and two assists. She is tied for third in the Big South in points and tied for second in the conference in goals. Five other Panther players have scored at least two goals this season, including redshirt-junior Bailey Beattie who is second on the team with eight points on three goals and two assists.
            • Hank has started all 13 games for HPU in goal and has a 1.50 goals-against average with a .757 save percentage. In nine games against non-Power 5 opponents she is 6-1-1 and has allowed just six goals while posting four shutouts.
 
Longwood Notes:
            • Longwood saw its game against Presbyterian College postponed during the weekend. The Lancers are 5-8-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the Big South with wins over Winthrop and Gardner-Webb in conference play.
            • Longwood has struggled to find the back of the net this season with 15 goals in 13 games. The Lancers have been shutout in five games.
            • Sydney Wallace leads the team in goals with three and is tied with Amanda Spencer (2g, 2a) for the lead in points.
            • Maria Kirby has started every game between the pipes for Longwood and currently sports a 1.27 goals-against average with an .812 save percentage and two shutouts. She is currently second in the Big South in both saves and save percentage.
 
Series Notes:
            • High Point leads the all-time series against Longwood with a 9-3-2 record in 14 games.
            • The Panthers split two games against Longwood last season, falling by a score of 1-0 on the road during the regular season then picking up a 5-0 win at home in the Big South Quarterfinals.
