The High Point Panthers went to overtime for the second consecutive home match, and emerged victorious once again.
Junior Beth Mork scored her third goal of the season in the seventh minute of the first overtime to give the Panthers a 1-0 win over Gardner-Webb at Albion Millis Stadium.
The Panthers improved to 2-3-1 on the season while the Bulldogs fell to 5-4 on the year.
The two teams played to a scoreless tie in regulation, with both teams coming up with chances to score, but no one coming through. The Panthers has a couple of tries in the overtime before finally finding the back of the net.
Senior keeper Cindy Watts had four saves, and the Panthers out-shot the Bulldogs 14-4. Gardner-Webb's Hilary George had six saves.
The Panthers had seven corner kicks to four by Gardner-Webb.
