High Point University Golf Facilities

Willow Creek Golf Course
The Willow Creek Course at High Point Country Club is used by both the men’s and women’s golf teams as the primary practice facility and a qualifying course. It includes a short-game practice area and an on-site driving range. The course has a high degree of difficulty which effectively challenges the players in practice. The 18-hole course was designed by Willard C. Byrd and opened in 1964.

Emerywood Golf Course
The Emerywood Golf Course is located at the High Point Country Club and is a nine-hole private course designed by Donald Ross and is used as a practice course by High Point. The course affords both teams the availability to work in-depth on situational scenarios. The Par-33 course is 2,569 yards long and carries a 33.5 course rating.

Meadowlands Golf Club
The Meadowlands Golf Club is located a short 10 miles from campus and an alternative training facility for High Point University golf. The course is a Hale Irwin Signature Design that has long, rolling fairways and luscious bent grass greens that wander through an abundant display of nature. It is regarded as one of the finest courses in the Triad and is a fair test of golf skill that has a traditional Carolina feel that replicates courses the teams compete on.

Oak Hollow Golf Course
Oak Hollow is just a short drive from the HPU campus and serves as an alternative training facility for High Point University golf. The course opened in 1972 and was designed by Pete Dye. It has been named one of the Top 25 Public Courses in America by Golf Digest. Oak Hollow is fortunate to have many of the unique characteristics of a Pete Dye design including railroad ties, pot bunkers, several peninsula greens and even an island tee. However, its small, undulating greens serve as Oak Hollow's most recognizable Dye trademark.

Steele Center Swing Lab
The state-of-the-art hitting lab allows the HPU golf teams to take an in-depth analysis of their swings to discover areas for improvement. The team utilizes an indoor/outdoor TrackMan 4 simulator with dual radar technology and a SAM PuttLab. The team is also able to work out here when the weather doesn't permit outdoor practice.
