In his fifth year at the helm of the High Point University men’s golf program, Brady Gregor has led the Panthers to unprecedented success. After his first season culminated with a 32-stroke improvement in the Big South Championship, he helped guide HPU to a program-best third-place finish in 2018. Along with that third-place finish, Gregor coached Brendan MacDougall to the program’s first Big South Championship medalist honor and became the first Panther in the program’s Division I era to advance to an NCAA Regional. After having the 2020 NCAA Spring Championships canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Gregor returned to the NCAA Regionals when Brandon Einstein became the first at-large qualifier in program history in the 2021 season. Combined with taking two trips to the postseason as an assistant with Charleston Southern, Gregor has been to an NCAA Regional in four of the six years he's had an opportunity to.

In his Gregor’s first season, the Panthers snapped a four-year drought without a team tournament title at the 2016 Donald Ross Intercollegiate. The squad continued that success throughout the year posting the fourth-lowest scoring average in HPU history (298.3). That was highlighted by a program-best round of 279 (-5) in the second round of the 2016 Phoenix Invitational.

At the end of the year, High Point carded a 32-stroke improvement at the Big South Championships while MacDougall earned All-Big South and Big South All-Freshman Team honors. In total, the team earned five individual top-five’s and seven top-10s. Individually, MacDougall broke HPU’s single-season records for rounds at or below par (13) and placed second in single-season birdies.

The Purple & White took another giant step forward in 2017-18 breaking the program record for birdies, eagles, rounds at or below par and par-3 scoring. Similarly, the Panthers posted their highest finish at the Big South Championship ever and sent their first individual to the NCAA Regional.

High Point had its best season yet in 2020-21, finishing with the highest Golfstat ranking in team history at the season's end with a ranking of 138, and sending the second golfer in program history to an NCAA Regional. HPU's scoring average as a team of 291.08 is the lowest the Panthers have had and the Purple and White won the first official Golfstat event of the season - the Wrangle at the Tangle, for Gregor's third career victory. High Point had six rounds under par as a team for the second-most in a single season and set scoring records for average scores on par-4s and par-5s. The Raines Company Intercollegiate broke every tournament scoring record in team history as HPU set records for lowest single round (275), lowest round to-par (-13, the only round double-digits under-par), lowest 36-hole score (556, -20), and lowest 54-hole total (846, -18).

Gregor comes to High Point after two years as the men's assistant coach at Charleston Southern University, where he helped lead the Buccaneers to back-to-back NCAA Championship appearances and a Big South Conference title.

In his first year in Charleston, Gregor guided the Buccaneers to the 2015 Big South Championship and a berth in the 2015 Lubbock Regional in the NCAA Championship. In 2016, Gregor aided the Bucs to the institution's first at-large post season bid for any sport as the team earned an NCAA berth in the Tuscaloosa Regional.

In addition to two of the best team performances in CSU history, which included the program's highest final Golfstat ranking and a No. 29 national ranking, Gregor also coached seven Big South Players of the Week, three All-Big South selections, the 2015 and 2016 Big South Individual Medalists and 2016 Big South Golfer of the Year in Austin James.

With Gregor's help, the CSU individual success continued into the summer of 2015 as James qualified for the 2015 U.S. Amateur at Olympia Fields Country Club in Illinois. James advanced out of stroke play and reached the quarterfinals of match play.

As a player, Gregor was a two-sport athlete lettering in football and golf. He earned his degree from Southwest Baptist University, graduating with a bachelor of science in business administration.
