Dec. 2, 2011 – Women's basketball tops Pitt behind 36 points from Reynolds

Junior Erin Reynolds led the High Point University women's basketball team to an 82-75 win over Pittsburgh with a career-high 36 points on Dec. 2 at the Millis Center in High Point N.C. Reynolds' career night tied the High Point Div. 1 single-game record. 

Reynolds went 10-22 from the floor and 13-20 from the line to match the HPU Div. 1 single-game mark set by Charlena Martin against North Carolina A&T on Nov. 27, 2004. She also added seven rebounds and had four assists in the win. 

The win over Pitt was High Point's first over a Big East team since moving to  Div. 1 in 1999. It was the Panthers first win over a BCS opponent since defeating Florida at the Gator Holiday Classic on Dec. 21, 2009.
