HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The High Point University baseball game notes were named Best in the Nation by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) last Thursday (June 18) in the organization's annual Publication and Digital Design contest.
 
HPU took home the top award in the spring sports game notes category, topping Power 5 opponents Kansas' and Kansas State's baseball game notes, among other NCAA Division I opponents. High Point Assistant Director of Athletic Communications Joe Templin designed and produced the game notes, garnering the Panthers' first-ever award from CoSIDA. The game notes are produced for each game or series of games and are available under each game on the schedule. CoSIDA is the professional organization of sports information directors and athletic communications professionals from all levels of collegiate sports. The Publication and Digital Design Contest has 37 categories of publications and designs, and each category is broken down into a University (NCAA D1) and College (all other schools) Division, with places awarded based on the number of entries.
