2015-16 Fall/Spring Team Tryouts

Saturday, September 26 - 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Sunday, September 27 - 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

To be eligible to tryout, you must have a letter of acceptance from High Point University admissions office or currently be enrolled as a full time student at HPU. We will need a completed copy of the 2015-16 Tryout Waiver, the 2015-16 Tryout Application, your most recent physical WITH sickle cell results and a copy of your insurance card (front and back) no later than September 23, 2015 by 5 p.m. (Eastern Time). No exceptions to this date! Once all completed information has been received, you will be placed on the tryout roster and receive a confirmation e-mail A $25 nonrefundable Application fee is due the first day of tryouts.

All forms should be sent together to head coach Alex Arney at HPUcheer@highpoint.edu by September 23, 2015 by 5 p.m. (Eastern Time).

Candidates must be dressed in white sports bra (midriff showing), purple shorts, white socks and cheerleading shoes with natural makeup and bright lips and hair pulled back out of the face. Athletes will be judged on athletic ability, tumbling, jumps, knowledge of material (band cadence and sidelines), and stunts.
