• Age requirement: 7-12 years old
• Junior Cheerleaders will participate in a minimum of 5 weekend Men’s and Women’s Basketball games during the season.
• $75.00 cost per cheerleader. Cost includes uniform, pompoms, briefs socks, ribbon, and HPU Cheerleading T-shirt.
• Junior cheerleaders are responsible for white tennis shoes.
• Junior cheerleaders must be daughters or granddaughters of Panther Club members.
• Practice will be held prior to each game that they are scheduled to perform at so they will be able to learn the routine.
• Cheerleaders will be able to learn chants, dances, and routines. If cheerleader can tumble (cartwheels, round offs) it will be choreographed into the routine; however this is not a requirement.
• Junior Cheerleaders will perform at halftime of select Men’s and Women’s Basketball games.
• Stunting will not be allowed due to liability and age/size.
• Junior Cheerleading Squad will be coached by current members of the HPU Cheerleading Squad.
• Interested cheerleaders may sign up on September 29, 2009 at the Millis Center between 6:00pm-8:00pm.
