Richard F. Vert Track and Soccer Stadium

Vert Stadium is one of the finest facilities of its kind, with the perfect size and amenities for track & field, soccer and lacrosse. Reopened in the spring of 2007, the stadium features seating for 1,100, a press box, hospitality suite, rest rooms and a concession stand.
The modern track has field event areas for the high jump, pole vault, long jump, triple jump, shot put and javelin. The natural turf field is ideal for men's and women's soccer and Vert Stadium will also be home of HPU women's lacrosse in its first season of 2011.
The stadium hosted Big South Championships for women's soccer in 2003 and 2008 and men's soccer in 2005 and will once again host the men's soccer championship in 2010. In the spring of 2009, the track & field team hosted its first home meet at the new facility.
