HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University women's basketball sophomore Camryn Brown has been selected as the Big South Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
 
The sophomore racked up career highs with 28 points and seven rebounds to lead the Panthers to a comeback win over UNCG on Dec. 28. Brown also dished out five assists in the contest while hitting 5-of-6 from beyond the arc in the victory.
 
The guard enters league play averaging 13.2 points and 4.0 assists per contest during her first season in the starting lineup.
 
HPU opens Big South action on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. against Gardner-Webb.
