HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's basketball program has announced a trio of nationally broadcast games for the 2016-17 campaign.

HPU's Feb. 4 home contest vs. UNC Asheville will be broadcast live on ESPN3, while the Panthers will travel to Winthrop for an ESPN3 contest on Jan. 28 (2 p.m.). In addition, High Point's Jan. 21 game at Radford will be televised on the American Sports Network (noon).

The Panthers will now have at least six games broadcast on regional and national outlets during the 2016-17 season. HPU's games at Virginia Tech (Nov. 15) and Clemson (Nov. 28) will air live on ACC Network Plus/ESPN3. In addition, the Dec. 6 game at Vanderbilt will be broadcast on SEC Network Plus.

During the Big South season, there are four HPU games that may be selected to air on ESPNU. That quartet includes home games against Charleston Southern (Jan. 26) and Campbell (Feb. 23) and road games at Campbell (Jan. 19) and at Presbyterian College (Feb. 9).

High Point has appeared on nationally broadcast contests 31 times since the 2012-13 season, including more than 25 on the ESPN Family of Networks

About the Panthers:Â The High Point University men's basketball team is coming off its second-straight 20-win season and its fourth-straight Big South Regular Season Championship. HPU advanced to the postseason for the fourth-straight year, qualifying for the NIT for the second time in program history. HPU is the winningest Big South program over the past four years and is one of just four schools nationally to have won a regular season conference title in each of the past three campaigns (Gonzaga, Kansas, Stephen F. Austin).
