HIGH POINT, N.C. - A number of teams from the High Point University athletics department spread some holiday cheer this December while taking part in the Stuff A Stocking campaign sponsored by WFMY and the Salvation Army.

High Point University has played a large role in the community iniative for the past four years and as a campus donated more than 700 stockings to children in need this holiday season. The 726 stockings were well above the University's goal of 600, speaking volumes about the generosity of the HPU community. In addition to the athletic teams that stuffed and donated stockings in 2014, members of the HPU men's lacrosse team also helped load the stocking on to delivery trucks this past week inside the Slane Center.
