Scott Rojo named to All-Premier Development League team

Senior Scott Rojo was selected to the 11-man All-Premier Development League team by vote of team management around the league. Rojo, who played for the Carolina Dynamo, was named to the team after finishing the season tied for third in the league in assists with eight.

Rojo played 16 games for the Dynamo, finishing the season tied for the team lead in points with 14 on three goals and eight assists. After coming off the bench in the first two games of the summer, the midfielder moved into the starting lineup in the third game and started the final 14 games of the season. Rojo was also named a member of the 2010 All-Eastern Conference Team.

Junior Karo Okiomah tied Rojo for the Dynamo team lead in points after notching six goals and two assists in just 11 games. Sophomore Fejiro Okiomah also played for the team, seeing action in nine games and recording one assist.

The USL Premier Development League is the amateur league of the United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada. It is currently the top level men's amateur competition in the United States, and is comprised of 67 teams competing in four conferences, split into eight regional divisions. Nearly 2,000 players from 67 teams played PDL soccer in 2010.
